*Logistics Tip Of The Day:*    All your team members should have set goals and know what is expected of them written and signed. . Sometimes all your staff need is a little 'ginger'. You should aim to have incentives for achieving certain goals. . For example, with dispatch rider's if they do 'X' amount of deliveries a week, they get a certain amount. You should ensure the incentive agreed upon can be sustained and will not affect the business. . For in-house staff, you can access their performance through appraisals. An example of incentives for staff is 'the employee of the month' tag which can come with or without a little mini treat.

Just like a farmer is nothing without his hoe and cutlass, your dispatch riders cannot work effectively without the items on our checklist . Have a look through the list and see what you have got and what is missing. .  Please note that this list is not exhaustive as there are a few other items such as POS, raincoat and boots but these are the basics required when you are starting up.
