HOW TO GET NIPOST LICENSE BY LEADWAY BUSINESS SOLUTIONS LTD.

 

Below are the requirements for getting the new NIPOST License. 

REQUIREMENTS:

1. CAC:

(a.) Company must be registered with CAC. Certificate of Incorporation only. Business Name is not allowed. 

(b.) Copy of Memorandum and Article of Association. 

(c.) Evidence of Share Capital

2. NIPOST LICENSE APPLICATION FEE/LETTER:

(a.) Evidence of online Remita payment receipt. 

(b.) An Application letter to the Hon. Minister of Digital Communication & Economy 

3. NIPOST LICENSE FEE:

(a.) Evidence of online Remita payment receipt 

(b.) Letter to Acquire NIPOST License

4. GOODS-IN-TRANSIT INSURANCE POLICY:

(a.) All goods to be transported must be insured. 

(b.) Obtain a GIT insurance policy from any insurance company and attach a copy. 

(c.) GIT policy charges varies from one insurance company to the other and also the number of bikes involved, and the type or nature of goods to be transported.  Daily, weekly and monthly estimates of value of goods to be transported is also used in calculating the premium charges. 

5. COMPANY ANNUAL TAX RETURNS:

If your company or CAC is less than a year old, there won't be any need to file Annual returns. Only those who their  CAC is older than 12 months are to file Annual Tax Returns. 

6. TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (TIN):

If your CAC doesn't come with a TIN, then you need to get it. Also, provide an online eveidenrof your TIN printed out. 

7. OFFICE SPACE:

(a.) Evidence of facilities, office space and location. 

(b.) Courier bags, invoice, receipts, waybill, etc. 

8. BIKES & BIKE DOCUMENTS (MIN. 2 - MAX. 5):

(a.) A minimum of 2 bikes and a maximum of 5 bikes only are allowed. 

(b.) For those with only 1 bike, we are not yet sure what their fate will be, but we will keep you updated. 

9. BUSINESS PLAN:

A copy of your Business Plan, Company Profile and Operations Manual. 

10. INSPECTION BY NIPOST OFFICIALS:

After meeting the requirements and presenting the above listed documents, a team of NIPOST officials will come to inspect your office to see if truly you deserve to be issue a Courier License.
