OVERLOADING

Image
OVERLOADING YOUR BIKE WILL COST YOU MONEY This is what we call 'OVERLOAD', lol. Yes, we know clients call and request for delivery of bulky items to be done via bike that they clearly know will not fit into the bike box just to save them money. Here are 5 ways, overloading your bike can cost you money: You can be fined by the regulatory authorities for overloading your bike. It causes the tyres to overheat and wear quickly which increases the chance of premature, dangerous and expensive failure. It makes it difficult to maneuver in traffic and loss of vehicle stability which can also lead to accidents that can be fatal. It increases fuel consumption. If you have insurance (which is an excellent idea) it might render your insurance claims invalid if your bike is involved in an accident. I hope I've been able to convince you that 'Overloading your bikes will cost you money and is so not worth it' :) Next time a client calls you to book a delivery and is unable to de...

FAST, CHEAP AND RELIABLE

Image
Genuine question. Is it really possible to be FAST, CHEAP AND RELIABLE while remaining profitable?  By saying cheap, does this mean cheaper than the average market price? When you say fast, does this mean you will not follow the natural geographical order for your pick ups and drop offs? When you say reliable are you saying you will meet up with your 'fast' deliveries without a tyre puncture or other form of delay?  We have always wondered how a company can guarantee a combination of these consistently. Do you offer fast, cheap and reliable deliveries? How does one offer timed deliveries as a standard and at lower prices. If it is a market penetration strategy, okay but doing it consistently?  What are your thoughts on this? Let's hear from you in the comments section below.
